Today at Atlanta Motor Speedway, seven drivers competed in the same-day doubleheader for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series on the 1.54-mile oval.

Ty Dillon, Erik Jones, Daniel Suarez, Ryan Sieg, Cody Ware, Morgan Shepherd, and John Wes Townley each logged just over 451 miles of racing today across the Xfinity Series’ Hisense 250 and Truck Series’ Hyundai Construction Equipment 200.

Dillon had the best day out of the quintet of drivers with a third-place finish in the Xfinity race and then a runner-up behind winner Matt Crafton in the Truck nightcap. Dillon also leaves Atlanta as the co-leader in the Xfinity standings along with Chris Buescher.

“We just came up a little short in both races today, but all in all, it was a good run,” Dillon said to Fox Sports 1 after the Truck race.
