Ryan Blaney will start Friday afternoon’s Lucas Oil 200 at Dover International Speedway from the pole.
During early-afternoon qualifying, Blaney was the only driver to eclipse 158 mph, turning a top speed and new DIS track record for a truck of 158.465 mph.
Erik Jones, who is making his first career appearance at Dover, was second-fastest (157.985 mph), followed by defending Series champion Matt Crafton (157.611), Tyler Reddick (157.377) and Daniel Suarez (156.801).
