WATCH LIVE: NASCAR America at 5 p.m. ET: Jimmie Johnson’s record win; misfortune for Busch, Hamlin

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 5 to 6 p.m. ET and recaps the weekend at Dover International Speedway.

Mike Massarro will host from our Stamford (Conn.) studios with Brian Vickers. Joining them from Burton’s Garage today will be analysts Dale Jarrett and Kyle Petty.

On today’s show:

  • Highlights, results and analysis from Sunday’s FedEx 400 at Dover, where Jimmie Johnson extended his record win total with a 10th career victory at the 1-mile oval. The six-time champion joined an elite list of stars with 10 wins at a single track in NASCAR’s premier series.
  • A promising day for a pair of Joe Gibbs drivers ended poorly. Pole-sitter Denny Hamlin and teammate Kyle Busch each were involved in crashes during the final 30 laps after running in the top 10 for much of the race. We discuss what went wrong and what it means for Busch’s chances of making the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
  • Highlights, results and analysis from this weekend’s Xfinity race.
