Erik Jones made the most of Saturday’s only practice session for tonight’s American Ethanol Presents the Drivin for Linemen 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park.
Jones covered the suburban St. Louis track at a speed of 136.766 mph (at 32.903 seconds).
Cole Custer was second-fastest (136.591 mph), followed my series points leader Matt Crafton (136.579), Johnny Sauter (136.285) and Brandon Jones (136.240).
Qualifying takes place at 5:45 pm ET this afternoon, followed by the green flag for the race at 8:30 pm. The race will be televised by Fox Sports 1.
