Kyle Busch leads the way at the halfway point of the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway after 133 of 267 laps.
Busch, who started ninth, has led the most laps with 71 while trying to outrun Brad Keselowksi, who has led twice for 62 laps.
Keselowski lost the lead on pit road when a tire carrier fell during his pit stop during a caution period that started on Lap 123.
The top 10: Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Carl Edwards, David Ragan, Keselowski, Kurt Busch, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Kasey Kahne and Kevin Harvick.
The first caution of the evening was on Lap 20. Josh Wise wrecked in Turn 3 and 4 after making contact with J.J. Yeley. That caution delayed the competition caution until Lap 30. During pit stops, Kyle Busch took two tires and was first off pit road while Keselowski came out 11th.
Keselowski had made it back to second place when debris from Paul Menard caused the third caution on Lap 82.
Keselowksi would retake the lead from Busch eight laps into the next green-flag run on Lap 95. It was the first lead change of the race that didn’t take place on pit road.
Five laps later, Kurt Busch brought out the fourth caution when he spun coming out of Turn 4 and slid through the frontstretch grass.
The fifth caution, caused by a Yeley getting into the wall on Lap 122, put Denny Hamlin back on the lead lap after the No. 11 was caught speeding on pit road while pitting under green on Lap 72.
There have been three leaders so far: Keselowski, Kyle Busch and Reed Sorenson.
