Today’s episode of NASCAR America, which airs from 5 to 6 pm ET, looks at some big off-the-track news involving Chip Ganassi Racing and Michael Waltrip Racing, as well as this weekend’s action in Pocono.

Dave Briggs hosts with Parker Kligerman from our Stamford (Conn.) studio and will be joined by Kyle Petty from Burton’s Garage.

What to expect from today’s episode:

· Nate Ryan provides the latest on Michael Waltrip Racing co-owner Rob Kauffman agreeing to buy an interest in Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates and what this means for both teams’ future.

· Chris Buescher phones calls in to discuss how he’s handling the pressure of being the Xfinity Series points leader and looks ahead to next week where he will drive for Front Row Motorsports in the Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen.

· Erik Jones plans to do an Xfinity/Camping World Truck Series doubleheader this Saturday. Tune in for his Saturday schedule and decide for yourself if he can pull it off.
