With five races remaining in the regular season, Kyle Busch still is 13 points shy of making his four victories count for a Chase for the Sprint Cup berth.

After running out of fuel while leading on the lap of Sunday’s Microsoft 10 400 at Pocono Raceway, Busch placed 21st and remained 32nd in the standings. He will need to surpass David Gilliland and Cole Whitt to reach the top 30 in the points (which is a stipulation for being eligible for the Chase).

Kevin Harvick, who was 42nd Sunday because of an engine failure and failed to finish a race for the first time this season, maintained his lead in the standings by 46 points over Joey Logano.
