Brendan Gaughn claimed the fastest speed in the Xfinity Series’ only practice session for Friday night’s Food city 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
At the end of the 2 hour and 25 minute session, Gaughan had a fastest speed of 125.289 mph.
Gaughan was followed by Brandon Jones (124.995), Brian Scott (124.914), Denny Hamlin (124.897) and Ty Dillon (124.792).
Ryan Seig (20th fastest) recorded the most laps of the session with 159.
Qualifying for the Food City 300 is scheduled for 3:45 pm ET on NBCSN.
