Austin Dillon drives ... to the hoop.

Besides what he does on the racetrack, the Sprint Cup driver is also quite the basketball fan and player.

On Nov. 3, Dillon will bring together several celebrities from NASCAR, country music and other sports for a celebrity basketball tournament at High Point (N.C.) University.

The tourney will benefit the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma. The 16-team, double-elimination tournament will start at 3 p.m., with the final game to tip-off at 7:30 p.m.

Fans can bid in an auction sponsored by the Childress Institute for two roster spots on each team. Memorabilia will also be auctioned.

General admission tickets will go on sale sometime later this month.

Among celebrities expected to captain teams: NASCAR drivers Austin and Ty Dillon, NASCAR driver Brendan Gaughan (who played college hoops at Georgetown University), motocross rider Ryan Dungey, MMA fighter Rashad Evans, country singers Colt Ford and Dustin Lynch, former NFL player D’hani Jones, WWE wrestler Mike Mizanin, DJ Dee Jay Silver, ESPN announcer Marty Smith and professional bull rider Sean Willingham.
