In case you’ve been caught up in the excitement over all the retro paint schemes being raced Saturday and Sunday in the Xfinity and Sprint Cup series at Darlington Raceway, this weekend also marks the beginning of the college football season.
Taking advantage of the moment, Regan Smith revealed on Twitter during a fan Q&A the paint scheme his No. 7 Chevrolet would have in the next four Xfinity Series races, beginning at Darlington.
Speaking of @taxslayerbowl I'm pretty pumped to be racing this scheme for the next 4 weeks pic.twitter.com/P30lqdOifP

Smith, a native of Cato, New York, and a fan of the Syracuse Orange, will be sponsored by the TaxSlayer Bowl. The Bowl will be played on Jab. 2, 2016 in Jacksonville, Fla. and will feature teams either from the SEC, the Big Ten or the ACC.
Smith will run the football theme paint job at Darlington, Richmond International Raceway, Chicagoland Speedway and Kentucky Speedway.
Saturday’s Darlington race airs on NBC at 3:30 pm ET.
