Kupp appeared on the first injury report of the week with the heel issue but managed a full practice. He was then downgraded to a limited session on Thursday after suffering the hamstring issue in practice. The team eventually listed him as questionable, though he always seemed like a long shot to suit up today after going down with a mid-week injury. Fellow Seattle wideouts Jake Bobo and Dareke Young have also been ruled out. Cody White and Ricky White were elevated off the team’s practice squad this week. They will be competing for the No. 3 gig behind Tory Horton. This all, of course, just means more targets for Jaxson Smith-Njigba, who enters the week as a WR1 overall contender.

Alexander heads to his third team in a calendar year as the Eagles continue hoarding talent, with the team sending a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Ravens for Alexander and a seventh. Howie Roseman is no stranger to taking a cheap gamble on underperforming talent, which appears to be the case yet again with the recent addition. Alexander could compete with backup corner Kelee Ringo immedaitely considering the absence of Adoree’ Jackson.

No big surprise here as the Cardinals tipped their hand earlier this week by canceling Kyler Murray’s media availability and giving Brissett the majority of the first-team reps in practice. Murray was expected to return after the Cardinals’ Week 8 bye, but he’ll take at least another week to recover from a foot injury. While Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon previously stated that Murray would be the starting quarterback when healthy, GM Monti Ossenfort was noncommittal when asked about the situation last month. Brissett is a QB2 option in superflex formats and fantasy managers can start Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. with confidence as both have increased their production with Brissett under center.

Flacco is still officially questionable with an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. There was optimism that the 40-year-old signal caller will be healthy enough to play following Thursday’s practice and that optimism has continued this weekend. Rapoport cautions that Flacco is planning to start barring a setback and that no one knows how his shoulder will ultimately react. Jake Browning would likely start if Flacco is ruled out, but it seems everyone is doing their best to avoid that scenario.

Bowers last played in Week 4 and is now ready to retake the field following the Raiders’ Week 8 bye. Only time will tell if his PCL sprain and bone bruise have fully healed, but fantasy managers do not want to be late to the punch on this one. Bowers belongs in season-long lineups as an elite TE1 against the Jaguars.

Thomas is clearly still bothered by this shoulder injury, but he should have a healthy target share with WR/CB Travis Hunter (knee) now on injured reserve. The Raiders’ swinging-door defense also helpfully increases Thomas’ odds of hauling in a few downfield passes. The volatile wide receiver is a WR1 in Week 9.

Collins spoke to reporters after Thursday’s practice, saying he had successfully cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol. He practiced in full on Friday and remains symptom-free. Collins faces a talented Broncos defense that is without star CB Pat Surtain II (pectoral). He is best viewed as a high-end WR2 with WR1 upside.

There was a huge vibe shift in Arizona on Wednesday when Murray’s media availability was canceled and replaced later in the week with one “for an Arizona Cardinals quarterback.” Murray sure seems to be in danger of picking up another questionable tag this week, and he may sit again and watch Jacoby Brissett spread the ball around more. Murray playing would be good news for Marvin Harrison Jr., and Brissett would probably help out Trey McBride and Arizona’s secondary receivers. Murray was officially limited on Friday.

Hunter was placed on IR earlier on Friday and will miss at least the next four weeks. Additional testing will occur over the weekend to figure out the true extent of the problem. It’s possible that Hunter returns this season, but we simply have no idea at this point how serious the injury is. Removing the torn ACL from the equation is a good start when we consider non-contact knee injuries, but it’s not exactly the end of the gloomy scenarios.

That makes it three weeks in a row of limited practice and no status for Diggs — he may just be being managed at this point. Diggs profiles as a low-end WR2 against the Falcons, who have mostly held opposing pass offenses down this season.
