Jones suffered an AC joint sprain in Week 9. The injury is believed to be minor, but a DNP to open the week suggests it could sideline him for at least one game. As if things couldn’t get worse, Jones is also dealing with a toe injury, though it doesn’t sound like that would be the reason for him to miss Week 10. If he is ruled out, Jordan Mason will take over the backfield once again, putting him on the RB2/3 border.

Nacua left Week 9’s game against the Saints with the rib injury and did not return. McVay did tell reporters after the game that he could have returned. The Saints weren’t threatening the Rams late in the game, so there was no point in sending Nacua back out. Nacua underwent testing after the game, but clearly no serious issues were found. Though the minor scrapes and bruises are mounting for Nacua, he’s a WR1 anytime he’s active. That will remain the case versus the 49ers this week.

Reports rightly indicated that Judkins had decent odds of returning to action following the Browns’ Week 9 bye after suffering an AC joint sprain in Week 8 against the Patriots. The Browns’ featured rusher will be on the field this weekend and can be started as a borderline RB1/2 against a Jets defense that recently traded away game-wrecking DT Quinnen Williams.

Pittman notably practiced in full, with a glute injury, throughout Week 2. He suited up on game day that week, catching 4-of-5 targets for 40 yards against the Broncos. Pittman plays through injury whenever he is medically cleared to do so, famously playing much of the 2024 season with a fracture in his back. His practice participation is worth following this week, though.

Odunze played through the heel issue last week despite missing Wednesday’s practice. The ankle injury, however, is new. It also makes it harder to say if he will suit up again for Week 10. DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus would both see an uptick in targets if Odunze misses time. Luther Burden would step into the starting mix in three-receiver sets, making him worth a stash in deeper formats.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the “Cardinals say this will give Murray the chance to focus on rehabbing his foot injury and that he is committed to getting back as soon as possible.” Should Murray actually return as soon as possible, it would be against the Rams in Week 14, after he sits out the requisite four games missed on injured reserve. Whether he would return to the team in a starting role is a separate issue. The injured reserve listing coincidentally comes after the team announced journeyman QB Jacoby Brissett would take over as the team’s starter. Perhaps time off gives Murray a chance to reset and he comes back stronger than ever. Regardless, the development is seemingly a positive one for Cardinals pass catchers, who have enjoyed on-target passes with Brissett at the helm.

This is unfortunate for all involved. Davis Mills will start in Stroud’s stead, expectedly lowering the fantasy-scoring outlooks for Texans pass catchers. Hopefully, Stroud can return in time for the Texans’ Week 11 game against the Bills. The Texans (3-5) sit four spots behind the fifth-place Bills (6-2) in the AFC.

Dowdle labored through the quad injury for most of the Panthers’ Week 9 upset of the Packers. Despite clearly playing through something, Dowdle racked up 25 carries for 130 yards and two scores. Head coach Dave Canales told reporters today that the team is trying to be smart about his injury with the DNP. He also mentioned Dowdle returning to practice tomorrow. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. Their newfound RB1 should be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Saints.

It’s officially a limited session for the superstar wideout. Wilson is tentatively on track to play in Week 10 against the Browns. Wilson has been sidelined since injuring his knee in Week 6. He has missed two games thus far, with the Jets having been on bye in Week 9, and the team notably abstained from placing him on injured reserve, which would have required a four-game absence.

BTJ could get in some work during the portion of practice closed to the media, though we doubt that actually happens. This should go down as a DNP once the Jags release their first injury report. Thomas Jr. is dealing with a “low-grade high ankle sprain,” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Even the lowest of high-ankle injuries typically result in a week or two of missed time. We aren’t holding our breath for BTJ to play this week. Parker Washington and the newly acquired Jakobi Meyers are in line to lead this team in targets on Sunday. Washington will clock in as a WR3. Meyers will get a week in the WR4 ranks while he learns the ropes of Liam Coen’s offense.
