Active for the first time since Week 4 following last weekend’s curious false start, Jackson waltzed to a QB1 effort with typical passing efficiency. It was another disappointingly low key game on the ground, but Jackson appeared no worse for the wear after missing more than a month of action. Carving up one of the league’s worst defenses, he found role player Charlie Kolar for a touchdown in addition to Mark Andrews (twice) and Rashod Bateman. The even better news is that Jackson avoided further injury and now has 10 days rest and recover for a matchup with the Vikings’ intense but burnable defense. Jackson should be back just in time to save fantasy seasons.

Nacua is firmly on track to play in Week 9 against the Saints. Players coming off multi-week injuries carry re-injury risk, but Nauca also possesses one of the highest ceilings in fantasy football. Assuming he is good to go, he should be locked into starting lineups against a fantasy-friendly Saints defense. He is an elite WR1.

Daniels has now practiced in full twice this week, putting him firmly on track to play in Week 9 against the Seahawks. Daniels’ participation levels indicate fantasy managers can expect him to operate as his typically efficient dual-threat self this weekend. He should return to fantasy lineups as an elite QB1.

Kupp was a full participant coming out of the Seahawks’ Week 8 bye yesterday, though he was only listed only with the heel injury. Thursday’s injury report suggests Kupp injured his hamstring in practice today, which jeopardizes his availability for the Seahawks’ Week 9 game against the Commanders. Anything is possible, but Kupp is sitting on the wrong side of questionable as of Thursday afternoon. Seahawks No. 4 WR Jake Bobo was also added to the injury report with an Achilles injury.

Alexander has been active for two games thus far, allowing a 100.0 percent catch rate on five targets thrown into his primary coverage. Although his performance thus far has disappointed, he can still contribute in a pinch. With the defense’s health generally improving, they can keep him bubble-wrapped for future times of need. The Ravens excitingly return QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) this evening, following a multi-week absence.

Wright’s has already been rendered inactive a few times this season, allowing RBs De’Von Achane and Ollie Gordon to split work on game day. Hill is hardly a needle-mover, but his absence further consolidates targets around the Dolphins’ already-busy healthy pass catchers. The defense will have LB Bradley Chubb (shoulder/foot) on hand for this one. He was initially listed as questionable but has now been cleared to play.

Murray’s practice participation level was released shortly after his scheduled media session was postponed to later in the week for “an Arizona Cardinals quarterback.” While Murray certainly has time to practice in full and get his foot right before his team kicks off on Monday night, he could be headed toward another absence, in which case, Cardinals pass catchers could benefit. Backup QB Jacoby Brissett has proven himself as a capable game manager in head coach Jonathan Gannon’s system. Stay tuned.

This is unfortunate. Hunter evidently injured his knee in today’s practice. Details on the matter have not yet been released, so he should be considered questionable to play at this time. Hype for Hunter’s offensive usage has been building, with some suggesting he could start “getting WR1 treatment” in the coming weeks. Hopefully, this is just a bruise or minor sprain and he can play in Week 9 against the Raiders.

Kirk is now on track to return for Week 9 against the Broncos, while backup slot receiver Braxton Berrios (chest) remains limited. Kirk’s expected return jeopardizes rookie slot WR Jaylin Noel’s access to the starting slot role. Noel has played very well in recent weeks, but Texans coaches could choose to keep the veteran installed as the starter. Friday’s injury report is worth monitoring.

Brutal. Mid-week additions to the injury report are never a good sign. Marks is coming off consecutive RB2 finishes while out-touching Nick Chubb 28-25 during that span. Marks has not yet been ruled out, but the events suggest he suffered the injury in practice today, putting him in the questionable camp at best. The Texans face the Broncos this week, so although Chubb will likely handle a sizable workload if Marks is sidelined, it could be tough sledding.
