  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Head coach Zac Taylor told reporters before practice that Higgins would be listed as limited. Not only did he not practice, but the team listed him with a neck injury on top of his adductor issue. He went down with the adductor injury late in Cincy’s Week 4 loss to the Jags. It’s unclear when the neck issue cropped up. With multiple injuries holding him out of practice, Higgins looks unlikely to play in Week 5. With Ja’Marr Chase potentially out as well, Dohnte Meyers could be Joe Burrow No. 1 receiver this week. He should be added in all fantasy formats.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #1
Earlier today, The Athletic’s Dan Duggan reported that Nabers sat in the rehab section, speaking with the team’s head trainer during individual drills before seemingly going through some sort of rehab routine. ESPN’s Jordan Raanan then reported that Nabers said he was feeling “more sore than usual,” and “did as much as he could at practice.” When asked whether this could affect his ability to play in Week 5 against the Commanders, Nabers said, “we’ll see,” adding that it usually gets better as the week progresses. We tentatively expect Nabers to play, though this is worth monitoring closely.
  • PHI Tight End #88
It’s Goedert’s first practice since going down with a knee injury in Week 2. Even a limited session today puts him on track to suit up for Philly’s Week 5 game against the Jags. With DeVonta Smith (hamstring) unlikely to play, Goedert could be in line for a large role right away. He will be on the TE1/2 border for Week 5 if he is cleared for action.
  • MIN Wide Receiver #18
This is a good sign. Jefferson is tentatively on track to play in Week 5 against the Saints. Ideally, he will upgrade to full participation tomorrow, though. O’Connell told reporters last week that his No. 1 wide receiver had made “great progress” in his rehab program. That indeed appears to be the case. He will be a WR1 if active.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
ESPN’s Jamison Hensley noted his absence during the portion of practice open to the media. While he could get in some limited work later in the session, this is almost certainly a DNP. Jackson is dealing with an “unconventional” ankle sprain and looks highly unlikely to play in Week 5. Tyler Huntley will draw the start if Jackson isn’t able to suit up. Ravens coach Jesse Minter later added that Jackson does not need to practice “much” in order to play the same week, though Huntley still looks like the likely starter at this time.
  • BAL Offensive Lineman #51
The Ravens have sustained several interior offensive line injuries in recent weeks. Things got so bad that they did not have a healthy center on the active roster or practice squad after Week 3. Jurgens is currently in concussion protocol and may not suit up this week, but he will take over as the team’s starter once healthy. The Eagles, in turn, will move forward Drew Kendall at center.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #15
Mitchell will likely miss his third straight game with the finger issue. He suffered the injury just as he was coming on as the team’s clear No. 2 wideout behind Garrett Wilson. With Mitchell sidelined last week against the Bears, Isaiah Williams was second on the team in pass routes, saw three targets, and caught a 58-yard touchdown from Geno Smith. Williams will have some deep-league viability in Week 5 against a Browns defense allowing the most air yards in the NFL. Adonai was officially a non-participant on Wednesday’s injury report.
  • NYJ Running Back #20
It doesn’t look like Hall will practice this week as he recovers from the injury he sustained in Week 3. That would mean Braelon Allen, who saw all 14 running back rushes for New York in Week 4, will again function as the team’s workhorse in Week 5 against the Browns. Allen should still be considered a top-24 option despite the Jets’ immense offensive struggles last week against Chicago. The Browns’ defense is allowing the sixth-highest EPA per rush this season. Hall was officially a non-participant on Wednesday’s injury report.
  • MIN Wide Receiver #13
Beckham, 33, was released by the Giants last week after getting almost no playing time in the season’s first few games. In Minnesota he will reunite with Kevin O’Connell, who worked with OBJ during his stint with the Rams. With Justin Jefferson (ankle) sidelined last week, Jordan Addison led Minnesota wideouts with 39 percent of the team’s air yards and 16 percent of the targets. Jauan Jennings, meanwhile, had one target while running 95 percent of the team’s routes. Beckham could operate as the team’s WR2 while Jefferson is sidelined. In the Vikings’ ultra run-heavy offense, that probably won’t matter for fantasy purposes.
  • PHI Tackle #65
We’d heard word through former Eagles EDGE Brandon Graham on a post-game show that this was on the table following Week 4, but it’s still a stunner to see it come to fruition. Johnson cites that his “personal and family priorities” have changed in his post about retiring. The stalwart Eagles right tackle made two first-team All-Pro appearances and three second teams, along with six Pro Bowls. Markel Bell started in his stead in Week 4 and should be expected to get the playing time at right tackle going forward.
