The Eagles handled Brown’s hamstring rehab conservatively, and he’s been able to continue practicing without issue since last Wednesday. Barring a setback, Brown can be started as a safe WR1 against a Cowboys defense that will struggle to rush the passer. If the Cowboys’ offense can keep things competitive, Brown could have quite the busy night.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Coker will miss at least the first four games of the season with a quad injury. He was looking like a great late-round receiver option with the Panthers trading Adam Thielen and recent reports that Coker would primarily work out of the slot. While the Panthers have signed Hunter Renfrow to the active roster, Xavier Legette is the most likely to benefit from Coker’s absence as the Panthers’ WR2.

Burrow is fully healthy and the Bengals believe “he might have actually improved his accuracy and decision-making” this summer. Though Burrow lacks the rushing upside that the other elite QB1s possess, his exceptional passing talents and top-tier receiving weapons keep him firmly in the top-five conversation. The Bengals also reportedly believe Ja’Marr Chase looks “like he could still be ascending after leading the NFL with 127 catches, 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns.”

Per Howe, “teams have been under the impression Pitts could have been available in a trade in the past.” He enters the fifth and final year of his rookie contract and is set to earn a $10.878 million salary. Howe believes that the financial aspect would be “the obstacle” in a potential trade, but teams are sometimes willing to eat a portion of a player’s salary if they are simply seeking future draft capital. If Pitts and Michael Penix Jr. form a strong bond, and that bond yields wins, this could all be moot. He’s a back-end TE1 with upside, entering 2025.

Earlier this week, Howe’s colleague, Chad Graff, said he believes Henderson could get half of the Patriots’ backfield carries or more. The explosive rookie is already a good bet to handle passing down duties. Becoming the lead rusher could make returning value on his late-fourth-round ADP a non-issue. Henderson can be viewed as an RB2 with RB1 upside, who will likely command larger touch counts as the season progresses.

Maye took over as the Patriots’ starter in Week 6 last year and produced five QB1 finishes thereafter. The towering dual-threat should be drafted as a high-upside QB1 after having an “impressive initial offseason with coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.” He enters 2025 with significantly improved skill position players around him.

Updates have been sparse but White returned to practice last week and has been participating since then without any reported issues. August reports on the Bucs’ backfield have been unfavorable to White, though, with Bucky Irving being considered for a high-volume role that includes “pass-catching work” and head coach Todd Bowles saying he needs to give Sean Tucker the ball more. At this point, White can only be stashed in PPR leagues. His standalone value is liable to evaporate if Irving siphons away passing down snaps and the tackle-breaking Tucker could eat into White’s rushing work. If Irving misses time, White could take on a specialized role featuring his receiving skillset while Tucker leads the way on early downs.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the extension “includes $120 million fully guaranteed at signing and makes Parsons the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history.” The Packers now field a formidable EDGE rush, with Parsons bookended by DL Rashan Gary. Clark, meanwhile, will line up next to DT Osa Odighizuwa, providing the Cowboys a solid, if unexciting, defensive tackle unit. The development undeniably downgrades the Cowboys’ ability to rush the passer, though, which puts the onus on the offense to keep the team in games. The Cowboys’ passing offense just became even more fantasy-friendly.

This tracks with prior reporting that suggested Godwin is expected to return sometime in October. Although we would love to have him on the field in Week 1, he appears to be on schedule, as far as the team is concerned. Licht also said OT Tristan Wirfs’ (knee) return “might be a little sooner.” It sounds like Baker Mayfield may be without his left tackle for the first 3-4 weeks, in which the Bucs face the Falcons, Texans, Jets and Eagles. All four teams are expected to field capable pass-rush units. Getting Wirfs back in time to face the Eagles’ vaunted group could be the goal.

Brown is on track to assume fantasy football WR1 duties against the Cowboys next week. Eagles OG Landon Dickerson logged his second consecutive practice as well, after undergoing a “minor procedure” on his injured meniscus earlier this month. He has a chance to play in Week 1.
