    Harold Fannin
    CLE Tight End #44
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Fannin was not seen practicing with the team earlier today. Now we know why. A full Thursday downgrade suggests he is highly unlikely to play in Week 10 against the Jets, vaulting TE David Njoku up the TE1 ranks. Browns WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring) should also return from injured reserve this week, though he profiles as only a boom-bust FLEX.
  • MIN Running Back #33
He seems to be trending in the right direction for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. Minnesota has struggled to run the ball this year and Baltimore is playing with more physicality over their past few games while using Kyle Hamilton in the box more. Considering the risk of re-injury, we’d probably classify Jones as on the RB2/RB3 borderline if he is able to play on Sunday.
  • CAR Running Back #5
Panthers head coach Dave Canales told reporters on Wednesday that the team is trying to be smart about Dowdle’s injury. While this is a positive, it would be nice to see Dowdle upgrade to full participation on Friday. The Panthers’ new No. 1 running back visibly played through the pain last week. He will undoubtedly do so again, if he is capable of it, but this is worth watching.
  • PHI Running Back #26
Barkley didn’t miss any real time against the Giants in Week 8 and Ian Rapoport reported he likely could have gone back in if necessary. A healthy Barkley would relegate your pre-emptive strike Tank Bigsby pickups to bench stash value. Nick Sirianni did not speak about Barkley ahead of today’s practice but it seems like he’ll be on track to play Monday against the Packers.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #11
Brown did not practice at all ahead of Week 8 before Philadelphia’s Week 9 bye and was ruled out. This is a promising sign that he’ll be able to go in Week 10, though we’d like to see Brown or Nick Sirianni speak before we make any grand proclamations. Assuming this is at least a limited session, we should see him as a WR1 candidate against the Packers on Monday night.
  • CHI Running Back #4
Swift is now seemingly on track to play in Week 10 against the Giants. Soon, we will find out whether the Bears’ running back rotation has changed after No. 2 RB Kyle Monangai’s 198-yard, three-catch showing with Swift sidelined in Week 9. Ranking both players on the RB2/3 borderline seems prudent, barring actionable commentary provided by the coaching staff.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #15
Odunze didn’t practice on Wednesday, but didn’t practice on Wednesday last week either and wound up being removed from the injury report on Friday. That’s still in play here, as the Bears seem to be managing a number of their key offensive weapons. Odunze will be on the WR1/WR2 borderline against the Giants in Week 10 despite bombing against Cincinnati last week.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #7
It doesn’t seem like Thomas is going to be active this weekend at this point. If he is, we’re going to need to see a major turnaround on Friday, probably with a coach quote attached, for it to be more than a pessimistic-side-of-questionable situation. Thomas has not practiced either day this week after incurring the lowest high-ankle sprain of all-time against the Raiders on Sunday.
  • IND Wide Receiver #11
The Colts sometimes give injured players a full day off rather than allowing them to practice in a limited capacity, with the goal of practicing in full soon thereafter. Such is the case for Pittman, who got a full session in on Thursday. Pittman is no stranger to playing through injury. His return to practice today puts him on track to play in Week 10 against the Falcons.
  • BUF Running Back #4
He’s officially only a limited participant, but his return puts him on track to play in Week 10 against the Dolphins, whose run defense is among the league’s worst. Backup RBs Ray Davis and Ty Johnson are still worth stashing on benches, just in case Cook’s injury flares up, but at this time, neither one appears to be a locked-in FLEX-worthy starter this week.
